Today has been a very boring day, washing clothes and paying bills.
Whilst we are still at the beginning I thought it would be a good time to tell you a little bit more about me, and of course my little family.
We shall call my partner the Beau, we met a little over a year ago. He helped me out of the dark and we have not been apart since.
As I have already mentioned I have always been rather emotional. Over the summer of last year I began to feel a lot worse. After an admission to myself I finally went to see a doctor and asked for help.......
I have a severe depressive mood disorder and have to take medication daily to keep it under control. I have seen a number of doctors and have also seen some psychologists. My illness is very close to bipolar and as a doctor once explained it to me, if Bipolar disorder is £10 I am £9.99!
Some days are a struggle and from a year ago my life has changed a lot. I understand myself more, and I have realised how lucky I am to have the family and friends that are around me.
Anyway back to the Beau..... I had a lot of time of work and met the Beau on my return. We sparked off an instant friendship and I suddenly felt myself being pulled free from the darkness that had surrounded me for so long. I don't in anyway mean that my family and friends didn't help but the Beau just gave me that extra push back to normality.
He made me laugh again and I mean really laugh, to be honest he still does. We often find ourselves laughing so much sometimes I end up crying but it's all good.
Within a couple of months the Beau was staying every night and then earlier his year we began looking for somewhere to live. We now live in a lovely little house along with a few additions to the family!
The Additions!
We have a hamster who we named Roy, she is female so also is known as Royleene (thanks Mam!), Roy arrived with us last November. Then in April this year, The Beau's father found two kittens whilst digging under a bush on his allotment. I couldn't possibly have let them go to a shelter. So as of that day Lottie and Norman arrived, and what fun they are!
And that is us! I do hope I haven't bored you!
PS. My babies!!! xx xx xx
